Holiday is here again

Today I am officially unemployed as a temporary finance analyst at Knowles. Time flies in a glimpse of eyes, I had been working there for 3 months and met some kind and friendly colleagues. I am very much appreciated and will always remember our good times... you guy's are people whom I would never get a chance to meet or work with in my merchandising field. Despite people always says that finance is a ''boring'' department but you all really proved them wrong! Lastly, the team work you guy's shared together during closing period was truly admirable. I wish you guy's All The Best and lessen bullets from GC :P

Back to topic, I will have a short vacation with my family from 9th-11th Dec in Kuala Lumpur and another fly away vacation to Singapore until 15th Dec. Also, my London flight has finally confirmed and scheduled on 26th Dec (yes is Boxing day & a day after Christmas). Finally....... London is calling.

This vacation included my mom, brother, sister in law, 2 cousins and me.The adults are attending Jacky Cheung's concert on Friday so we want to tag along and have fun together. I remember my family trip was back in 2 years in Shanghai and without my cousins. My youngest brother always missed out because he had no time for vacation. Poor zhu zhu daddy ^@^ Anyway, I am done packing my luggage (wohoo) and because I am flying to Singapore right after KL, so I am cracking my head for the most convenient packing to avoid moving my stuffs from here and there. I am feeling exhilarate for my weekend get-away and most importantly, I am ''going back'' to Singapore to see my piggie family! Just in case you have to know, I will return to Penang after Singapore for Christmas :) How can I not celebrate Christmas with my beloved friends and family...

I am so so miss the feeling of shopping in Singapore!! Do you think it's possible for me NOT to shop when Singapore is having a Christmas Sales? I was reminded by this uncle at a currency exchange shop this afternoon while I was doing my deal. He asked ''When are you going to Singapore?'' I answered and he shiok sendiri saying ''Oh you are going to shop there because they are having year end sales?!!''.....followed by a tone which we exclaimed as Laughing Out Loud, so called LOL. I think he finally got a good exchange deal after 10 shops of survey, therefore he can't hide his happiness, hahahaha ( I am happy for him too)

Alright, is getting late and I still need to pick up my alteration piece from the tailor shop. I FORCE aunty to get it done by tonight (I sent in this afternoon) because I love x love that dress so much

We Talk, We Eat and We Laugh

Weissbrau German Bistro & Bar @ Straits Quay

Since few months ago we've been talking about a dinner catch up before Hui Teng's relocating to Australia, my departure to London and Karen's home coming holiday. All of us are so difficult to fix a time because we were working in different countries. Although we managed to make it this time (by hook or crook) but one of our friend was tie up with account's closing period, so she was not able to turn up this round.

Two pretty ladies arrived before me because I was slightly late on that night, so I met them at the Straits Quay Lobby and did some recap talk of Friday's traffic :) Surprisingly it wasn't that bad. The venue is actually planned by me so I brought them to Weissbrau German Bistro & Bar to try out their famous European favorites. This is my second visit, my first visit was with my Singapore's friend Melissa on last month. She heard they make very nice pork knuckle so she wanted to try it out. And yes it was a good one.

The air was pretty stuffy on Friday, so we took an indoor table instead of outdoor. After the menu was served, browsing through and Karen inquiries the waitress for their recommendations. In the end, we ordered Country Style Rosemary Pork Ribs & Neck x Butcher's Platter. Not forget, we can pick 2 side orders to go with our main course meal. So we picked Rosti x Spatzli x Garlic Mash Potato & Market Vegetables.

Order was placed so three of us started to do our chatting and photo taking. We talk about our upcoming plans, my preparation to London in terms of winter equipments, school and accommodation, Karen's homesick issue and also how heavy hearted Hui Teng is to leave her hometown. She's engaged and her fiance is living in Australia so she's making a big sacrifices to move over to Australia. However, I am very very happy for her because she's going to start a new journey with her loved one, I know it's going to be tough at the beginning but I know she would be fine afterall. You will always have us spiritually. All the best to you, Mrs Tan :)

We waited about 20 mins, foods are finally served and yes - BIG portion! The 3 ladies were so enjoyable munching our western favorites.

After the sinful dinner, we carry on with more chats. Initially we plan to have drinks at somewhere else but the ambiance was delightful so we ended up for 4 hours at Weissbrau. The night was really fun and I am so grateful to have them in my life. Our friendship has lasts for so long ever since secondary school. And now, we are still keeping in touch.  Even when we don't get to see each other often, you gals are always, always in my heart.

Blowing Korea Madness

Thanks to Youtube, I unexpectedly figure out this music video call Trouble Maker while scrolling here and there to find some nice Korea musics. Well I believed most of you have this experience when you  hear some nice Korea musics on the radio, while doing shopping at some Korea boutiques but we have no idea who are the singer or when do we get to hear this song again?!

I know some of the musics from Korea is far more better than Chinese pop song and I am very much impressed by the Korean's hair-do, make up, fashion, shooting skills and how they play with colors. I was told by my ex-bosses when they used to deal with the manufacturers in Korea, so they normally get to travel to Korea like once a month. They told me regardless of who you are, how young/old and what job you are doing.. Their appearance will always look good and groomed themselves nicely everyday. Well look at ourself and colleagues surrounding you, I don't think most of us spend enough of time dolling up before we leave the house, even the guys right :)

Some say it is simply because of the culture differences but hey, I do not agree at all. What does culture has to do with our appearance? Stop making an excuse and start pampering yourself or make yourself look glowing everyday okay?  If you have no idea where you should begin with? You can try check out some useful magazines. However, I personally advise all of you to grab a non-local published magazine because the contents in local published magazine are not as richness as International published magazines.

At this hour

Hello everyone... I am covered with my soft blanket and keeping myself warm. I don't want the rain to be stopped raining at this hour because, i can sleep soundly without turning on my room's air conditioner :)

I have too little time to really look into my Blog due to my work in the afternoon. But i promise, your eyes would be too busy reading it after i got over with my 3 months temporary job at Knowles (Gosh i can't believe i am in finance dept) Ask me if i would consider switching my professional to Finance? Seriously NO (with no doubts at all) haha

I love doing Fashion Merchandising because I simply love the feeling of running infront of everybody, chasing after the trends.

Anyway, apple is on its way soon! Why needed a new laptop? My Sony is not loving me anymore and i really need a workable laptop for assignments in London, no joke as this might screw up my results :(

Till then, stick to my compact iphone for all kinds of communication.
