Three Little Pigs Reunion Dinner

Since lovelocker had shared photos taken in Kuala Lumpur, so now is time to re-cap those wonderful pictures that I have taken with my pig family in Singapore.

Before that, my sincere apologise to my friends in Singapore (esp to Adeline, Melissa and Sherina) whom I suppose to meet for Farewell dinner but unwilling to do so. It was an unexpected accident and my aunt need me more than anyone at that period of time. Afterall, is not going to be long and with Internet access in London, I will still see you guys around at anytime too. Do write to each other every now and then :) Miss x Love you all very very much.

So this was the one and only reunion dinner I managed to attend back in Singapore seeing my 2 best friends from hometown. We had our dinner at City Hall, I had this familiar yet comfortable feeling at Cityhall so I suggested the dinner to be held at there. Perhaps it was because we used to hang out at Cityhall? All my happy memories flashing back now... I will come back to you one day, Singapore. Treat me good and secure me with a good job okay?...

Pluhease pluhhhhheasee go away my complicated physical sensation!!... I barely bring you along with me now. I want to be as HAPPY as penguins from Happy Feet:P

Tomorrow is still a Holl-i-day

How's your Christmas Celebration? Mine was pretty ordinary... I spent this silent night with my family and friend. Looking back, I do enjoy celebrating my Christmas's Eve x New Year's Eve at the club but in recent years, I realised those are just my short and sweet time. You might not feel the way I am expressing now but time will tell. Been there, done that... this is how it happens to everyone of us. You enjoy doing certain activities at certain age but don't limit yourself thou.

Because we Work Hard, Play Hard

So I left home at about 9ish with my mum, cousin and best friend. We went to town for a local dinner then headed to First Avenue for 10pm show,  yea we watched New Year's Eve on Christmas's Eve^^

Movie like this is like an ''Endorphins'' to my body in every years, for the sake of being a part of the big day and to feel festive. It doesn't matter about the storyline, as long as it was casted by a group of hot pies... and yes... Who wouldn't adore Ashton Kutcher or Zac Afron? Buy nono, I was there for Sarah Jessica Parker :) Frankly speaking, I am pretty disapointed and it got a low rated from me. The most inspired part was the given speech by Hilary Swank playing as Claire. She reminds me of things that happened in my past,  taught us to forgive for what had happened and move on to a brand new year... even an important day like this can be screwed up by a DROPPING BALL. Hahahaaha

Somehow, the song sang by Bon Jovi - Have a Little Faith In Me is amazing. So if you have watched it or you are going to do so, once again, I hope you learn something. Just like there is no ''What If'' in our life.

The movie took about 2 hours. By the time I came out from cinema, it was 12am. So my night ended with a short traffic jam at Gurney Drive.. We drove around to see what's happening before we went home... This is the day when we can feel young x old mix together in our soul. Young as in we were hanging out on a big day like this but old in another way of eyes hardly open and feeling sleepy in the car ZzzzZzz... Surprisingly there are no massive party peoples doing silly foam spray on cars.. LOL. Well maybe there are at Upper Penang Road? I could have missed it?!

Whether it was a silent or a loudest night ever in 2011. Party to the max and have fun! I better get going because I am seeing my friend for Steamboat! I am craving for Steamboat!! (out of the sudden)

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

Ferringhi Garden Restaurant @ Batu Ferringhi

Happy Holidays!! I can feel the festive season so close to us now. Christmas Lights are beautifully decorated along the road... colourful bulbs hanging up high on our top.. Candy Canes that I received from friends... so much of joy waiting for me and it just keep telling me that Christmas is here, New Year is even getting closer too :) I couldn't help but feeling so excited when I know New Year Eve is going to be so much different from previous years. How can I not jumping up and down when I finally get to see fireworks showering on me when 2012 is here! I know I will shed tears and deep down, feeling so lucky by welcoming my 2012 at such wonderful x magical place.

Celebrations are for anybody, regardless of your race or language you're spoken. It unites everyone of us together at this special day,  we hug x cry x smile x laugh because we feel loved and we pray for a better year ahead. It always does... There are friends who couldn't make it home or choose to celebrate this day at somewhere else, all alone or with someone special. No matter where you are my Dear Friends.... you have been missed (esp Joe, Karen, June) & I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ♥

My final KL trip in Year 2011

A 3 days 2 nights in KL were never enough... anything that got to do with family will always touched me deep in my heart. The imperfect incident was me suffering from bad flu and light fever throughout the trip >.<  I was feeling so cold in the hotel room for the first night until I got to buy a long sleeve pj set in Uniqlo for the following night. Anyway, the pj set is kinda cute too, I probably need it for winter.

On our first day, we started our journey at about 7ish, it took us 2 hours to arrive in Ipoh. My brother had organised the trip perfectly so our first stop was Fu Shan Restaurant. We were there for their famous Dim Sum. The restaurant was renovated in ancient style, using wooden chairs and some antique vases. It brought us back to those olden days when ancient peoples carrying a sword on their back and use silver coins to buy a BAO. .. (what a description) LOL. I presonally recommend their Dumpling Soup because the dumpling was wrapped with fresh prawns and once you bite it, you can feel Q Q :)

After we filled up our stomach, we continue our journey. Our first mission is to arrive in KL before 2pm because moi needs to collect my UK Visa in between 2-3pm (Yes UK Border Agency only allow collection during 2-3). Unexpectedly, we arrived in KL an hour earlier so we stopped by at KLCC for some shopping. Traffic in KL is still that bad but luckily we have GPS to guide us along although brother did missed out a few turns then I hear Siri saying "re-calculating".... Oh Ohhhh

While waiting for the collection time, I took this "opportunity" to shop for my winter accessories. I missed out a Winter Jacket at Zara on my previous trip so I wanted to get it this time, but, my size was sold out!!! Ohhhh why.... I thought I was petite enough to not having any other shoppers out there grabbing the same size as me?!!! I was feeling so disapointed and regrets for not getting it earlier but mum told me to try out at other Zara outlets as this was just our first stop. So I must have faith to believe that I will get it tomorrow. And yes! I bought it from Zara Midvalley on the next day! Yohoo~

Afterall, Visa has been collected and I felt much more relief now. Days after were filled up with joys and happiness with my family. Especially when my crazy cousins were with us, she was a prank and full of shitsss, but in a humor way laaaa. Hahahahahaa. We spent our Saturday at Midvalley and Pavilion being a shopaholic. Sorry to jump in, why Pavilion was soooooooo super packed???! I saw a lots of Bangla as well..... they are so happy to take photo with the United Buddy Bears. Damn funny..

Anyway, guess whos the winner of the night? I mean Shopping Queen. You won't believe it!!

"Drum roll..........." The winner is my 12 years old cousin! She bought 4 sets of Chinese New Year clothes x 6 pcs doughnuts (my brother counted this as well) LOL.... so she smiled all the way from Pavilion back to the hotel :) Evil.... and also ''hao lian''

I wasn't that bad too...at least I managed to buy what I need for winter so I was happy enough to pack and fly to Singapore on the next day. We had Chili Pan Mee at Super Kitchen before I say goodbye to them. My brother dropped me at KL Sentral, I carried a super big luggage and departed to Singapore on an evening flight. The end of my KL trip... with lots of shopping bags. Specially thanks to my brother who scheduled the trip with yummy lunch & dinner. And also co-operation from all of you for my Visa collection :)

Here are some photos taken in Pavilion, the Christmas decoration is rated the best so far.. I missed out Christmas @ Orchard Road because it was raining when I was there. Take a look at those sweet candy sticks x merry go round x cupakes. Christmas is always colorful * * * * *

She is my beloved pranky cousin

See.. prank again

So people, there is no right time or right one out there. As long as you are in love with him/her, you care about him/her and you want to move on with this person. Do something for him/her when your heart is saying so.

xoxo, good night

Good friends bring you good times

Jazz Festival @ G Spot Lounge, G Hotel Gurney

I really really love and hope Penang would organise more Jazz festival or Musical performance in future. When I was in Singapore hanging out with good friends, we could found surprises here and there and one of my favorite is slow walking to Esplanade, grab a seat at the open hall and started to appreciate free performance at Water Front Esplanade. There is a stage where live bands get to share their music with people like us on every Friday to Sunday. I hope it's still on-going because my last be there moment was about 8 months ago. Eventhough sometimes you might bump into some musical bands who's not in your list but the matter is you get to share the moments with everybody else and music is a magic, wherever you hear music, you will be delighted. I heard Sentosa offering a few of nice Jazz musical bands in the evening as well but lovelocker has never get a chance to hear them perform before because I usually left before the evening arrives.

Well back in Penang, I still love what I am having here but it can be better. Seeing my good friends in Penang is also one of the precious thing I appreciate and how we can get along so close? We share almost the same interests and just simply enjoy it. There are few of us and we hardly see each other after so-called our "chasing after rounder moon" to persue our dream in different countries. So whenever we came back to our hometown, we spent our quality time together. Arghh I started to feel emo and missing each and every one of you. For cupcakes (you know who you are :) sorry for not able to make it for 2012 Chinese New Year, the 5 of us reunion once a year is not so perfect this time but I am pretty sure you gal's would have fun without me laaaaa. If you gal's remain our ''Lou Sang'' custom at Redbox, don't forget to make few wishes for me (Joe is not allow to wish for a stay) LOL

So here are some photos taken approx 3 weeks back at the Jazz Festival. This Jazz Festival was held in Penang and we were lucky enough to have a chance to hear them perform and enjoy it with good friends, thanks to our good sister, Wendy and it was nice meeting her friends Jenny x Ai Li too. I will let the photos do all the talking at our unforgettable Jazzy night :)
